If it has to do with  Harley Davidsons

we are The Experts!!

Professor is our motor building expert. His experience goes back to his college days at L.S.U. working at the Baton Rouge Harley Davidson Dealership in the 70’s. He has a reputation for getting it right the first time. He is familiar with all of the Harley motors. He does the difficult jobs other shops turn away.

Professor has been riding motorcycles since 1964.  His first ride was a1952 custom Triumph, which he still has and plans to restore one day.  He has several other bikes in his collection. But right now you would more then likely see him on his 1976 stripped down Shovelhead.

Michele is our Parts Sales person. She is familiar with your Harley Davidson and the parts it may need.  She has been working the parts sales counter at Professor's since its opening in 1982.   She maintains a large inventory of the most commonly needed items for your bike.  If she doesn't have it on hand she welcomes special orders and can usually have your item in for you in a couple of days.  Michele rode mini bikes as a kid.  From 1984-1994 she rode a 1965 Harley Davidson Servicar.   Now she rides a 1971 Shovelhead.

When you come to Professor's Cycle Products there is a good chance you will meet Jimmy.  He is Professor and Michele's 18 year old son who has grown up in the shop.  Jimmy is now attending LSU studying engineering, but on the weekends he plans to help  with disassembly, glass beading, welding and wheel truing.    Jimmy has been riding dirt bikes since he was 8 and is currently riding a 1992 custom Sportster.

So as you can see we are truly a family owned business dedicated to giving you outstanding customer service.  We're in this business because we love motorcycles.
